The flywheel slicer model 9h is built between 1936 and 1969 by MAATSCHAPPIJ VAN BERKEL'S PATENT N.V. to ROTTERDAM HOLAND. It is realized in the first part of production with the name of Berkel model B9 until the beginning of the 40s and then definitively replaced with the Berkel version 9h. In the English production with some small variations, but still very similar to European production, while in South America was produced in addition to European-style models, a variant with the body completely closed around the base. The flywheel slicer Berkel model 9h has a regulation of the thickness of the slice with a 15-position snap-action clock, the calibrated action sharpener is equipped with an automatic pressure detachable grinder. The plate of the dish is made in stainless steel, a system of rapid movement and automatic release of the plate at the end of the useful advance and the arm for fixing the product to be cut is articulated in an open type. The cart, at the top, has fixed a fluted plate in white opal, unlike the previous version of the same model, or the Berkel model B9 that had this part completely in stainless steel. The Berkel model 9H flywheel slicer uses a 319 mm blade and has a cutting capacity of 210 mm. mounts helicoidal gears protected by a painted metal box and a worm screw protection. The slicer is operated by means of a closed flywheel with an external diameter of 340 mm. and the "Van Berkel's Patent" decal is applied inside. The Berkel model 9h flywheel slicer requires a support of 280 mm. front - 280 mm. rear - 450 mm. length having a total dimensions of 620 mm. in height - 780 mm. in length - 620 mm. in width. The Berkel model 9h flywheel slicer has a net weight of 68 kg. The slicer was supplied without any stand support, but optionally at the request of the buyer his original pedestal was supplied, where the slicer could be correctly positioned in every point of the room without creating impediments on the work and be cleaned more easily and be enhanced even more. This slicer, like all the flywheel slicers that have been restored and sold by The World's Best Slicers, is restored exclusively with the exclusive use of original antique decals respecting the color tone and supplied with its original pedestal, avoiding trivial copies.The restoration is carried out in the laboratories of "The World's Best Slicers" respecting the principle of conservation of the parts. Providing for the disassembly and recovery without any replacement of the worn or broken pieces, carrying out a carryover of material by welding and subsequent milling or turning of the pieces in order to bring them back to their original dimensions and their functionality. For the missing parts, original spare parts acquired from the production plants or incomplete slicers are used. The painted parts, which were first stripped by cryo-stripping and carefully prepared, are painted using new generation paints that comply with health and pollution regulations and reformulated in the correct shade of color used in the past. The decorations are strictly performed through the application of copal paint decals, avoiding any type of mystification, such as airbrush decorations, stickers or any other type of fantasy decoration. Each restored slicer is delivered with an Official Certificate of Originality and Guarantee
